What’s the difference between a Bookkeeper and an Accountant?
Your Bookkeeper is predominantly responsible for recording the day to day transactions of your business. They will likely be the person that assists you with the ongoing financial recording and transactions that keep your business running smoothly. Accounting is a high-level process that uses the financial information compiled by a bookkeeper or business owner, and produces financial models using that information. The process of accounting is more subjective than bookkeeping, which is largely transactional. It is important to understand that both Bookkeepers and Accountants are integral parts of your business and it is beneficial they work alongside each other to ensure the best outcome for you and your business.
